Ingredients

Scale

Oreo Crust

  • 30 Oreos (crushed)
  • 5 tbsp butter (melted)

Peanut Butter Filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened to room temperature)
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • 8 oz Cool Whip

Toppings (Optional)

  • Reese’s peanut butter cups
  • Reese’s pieces
  • Crushed Oreos
  • Chocolate, caramel, or peanut butter drizzle

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare Crust: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly coat a pie pan with non-stick cooking spray and set it aside to prepare for the crust.
  2. Process Oreos: Using a food processor or blender, pulse the Oreos until they become fine crumbs. Alternatively, place them in a plastic bag and crush by hand. Pour the melted butter over the crumbs and mix thoroughly until all crumbs are evenly coated.
  3. Form and Bake Crust: Press the buttered Oreo crumbs firmly and evenly into the bottom and up the sides of the pie pan to create a compact crust. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes. Once baked, remove from oven and allow it to cool completely on a wire rack.
  4. Mix Filling: In a mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the peanut butter and softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy—a thick mixture will form. Gradually add the powdered sugar and continue mixing until fully incorporated. Finally, fold in the Cool Whip, combining gently to maintain a light texture.
  5. Assemble Pie: Once the crust has completely cooled, spread the peanut butter filling evenly into the crust, smoothing the top. Decorate the pie with Reese’s peanut butter cups, Reese’s pieces, crushed Oreos, or your choice of drizzled chocolate, caramel, or peanut butter.
  6. Chill: Place the assembled pie in the freezer for at least 3 hours, or refrigerate for about 5 hours to let it set and chill thoroughly. For best taste and texture, serve the pie cold.

Notes

  • Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened to avoid lumps in the filling.
  • You can substitute Cool Whip with homemade whipped cream for a fresher taste.
  • Allow the pie to chill fully for the best sliceable consistency.
  • The crust can be made ahead and stored in an airtight container until ready to use.
  • Top with additional toppings of your choice for extra decoration and flavor.
