Creamy whipped ricotta on toasted sourdough, topped with fresh peach slices, honey, herbs, and cracked black pepper—a delightful sweet-savory toast ideal for brunch or a snack.

  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon honey (plus more for drizzling)
  • 1 fresh ripe peach, thinly sliced
  • Fresh thyme or mint leaves
  • Freshly cracked black pepper
  • Olive oil for brushing (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix ricotta with lemon zest and 1 teaspoon of honey until smooth and creamy.
  2. Toast the sourdough slices until golden. Brush lightly with olive oil if desired.
  3. Spread whipped ricotta generously over the toast.
  4. Arrange fresh peach slices over the ricotta.
  5. Drizzle with more honey, top with fresh thyme or mint, and finish with a sprinkle of cracked black pepper.
  6. Serve immediately while the toast is warm and the peaches are fresh.
