- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 lb spicy Italian sausage, casing removed

- Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and edges are golden.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley and crushed red pepper flakes if desired.
- Slice and serve hot.
