- 1/2 cup whipped cream cheese
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tbsp chives, chopped

- Preheat your waffle maker.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk milk, eggs, melted butter, and Dijon mustard until combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and stir until just combined.
- Lightly grease the waffle iron and cook waffles until golden brown and crisp. Set aside.
- Spread or dollop whipped cream cheese on each waffle.
- Layer with smoked salmon slices and sprinkle with dill, chives, and cracked pepper.
- Garnish with lemon wedges and edible flowers, if using. Serve immediately.
