- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ⅓ cup creamy peanut butter
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ cup chocolate chips, melted
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, and salt until just combined. Spread into the prepared pan.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese, peanut butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth. Gently layer over brownie batter.
- Melt chocolate chips with peanut butter and drizzle over the top. Use a knife to swirl decoratively.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the center is set and edges are lightly golden.
- Cool completely before slicing. Chill for at least 1 hour for clean cuts and best texture.
Notes
- Ensure cream cheese is softened for a smooth cheesecake layer.
- Chilling helps the bars firm up and makes slicing cleaner.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 5 days.
