Sweet summer peaches paired with savory prosciutto and melted mozzarella make this pizza a gourmet treat perfect for warm evenings. Finished with fresh basil and a balsamic drizzle, it’s a crowd-pleaser bursting with contrasting flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ball of fresh pizza dough (about 12-inch round)
  • 1/2 cup marinara or pizza sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 45 thin slices of prosciutto
  • 1 large ripe peach, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
  • Flour, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat.
  2. Lightly flour your work surface and stretch or roll out the pizza dough into a 12-inch circle.
  3. Carefully transfer the dough to a sheet of parchment paper.
  4. Spread a thin layer of marinara or pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly over the sauce.
  6. Arrange prosciutto slices and peach wedges across the pizza.
  7. Drizzle with olive oil and carefully slide the parchment paper with the pizza onto the hot baking surface.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbling and slightly browned.
  9. Remove from oven and sprinkle with chopped basil.
  10. Drizzle with balsamic glaze just before serving. Slice and enjoy warm.

Notes

  • Use ripe but firm peaches for best texture and flavor.
  • A pizza stone helps create a crispier crust.
  • Try adding a sprinkle of chili flakes for a spicy twist.
