Nutella Hazelnut Sandwich Wafers

Crisp waffle-textured cookies filled with creamy Nutella and topped with a drizzle of caramel and chopped roasted hazelnuts—each bite is a nutty, chocolaty crunch that melts into indulgence.

  • 24 round waffle cookies or crisp butter wafer cookies
  • 3/4 cup Nutella or chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped roasted hazelnuts

Instructions

  1. Pair up the cookies into even sets of two.
  2. Spread about 1–1.5 teaspoons of Nutella on one cookie, then gently press the second cookie on top to create a sandwich.
  3. Drizzle caramel sauce over the tops of the cookie sandwiches using a spoon or piping bag.
  4. Sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts while the caramel is still sticky.
  5. Let set at room temperature or chill for 10 minutes to firm up.
