Ingredients

Scale

Base Ingredients

  • 1 cup Fairlife skim milk
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (recommendation: 1UP Nutrition Vanilla Ice Cream protein powder)
  • 1 tbsp sugar-free vanilla jello pudding mix
  • 1 tbsp monk fruit sweetener
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Mix-Ins

  • 2 tbsp dark chocolate chips
  • 3 tbsp mini peanut butter cups

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: Add the fairlife skim milk, unsweetened almond milk, vanilla protein powder, sugar-free vanilla jello pudding mix, monk fruit sweetener, and salt to the Ninja Creami pint container. Fill up to the max fill line. Use a handheld frother to thoroughly mix all ingredients until well combined.
  2. Freeze Mixture: Place the pint container in the freezer and freeze the mixture for 24 hours, allowing it to become completely solid.
  3. Prepare for Processing: After freezing, remove the pint from the freezer and run the outer container under hot water for 60 seconds to loosen the ice cream for processing. Secure the pint into the Ninja Creami machine.
  4. Initial Spin: Select the ‘Lite Ice Cream’ button on the machine to begin the first spin cycle. After completion, remove the outer bowl lid to check texture. If the ice cream is still powdery, return it to the machine and press the ‘Respin’ button to improve creaminess.
  5. Adjust Consistency: Check the texture again; the ice cream should be creamy and smooth. If it’s too firm or powdery, add a small amount of liquid (such as milk) and use the ‘Respin’ function once more until you reach your desired consistency.
  6. Melt Chocolate Chips: While the ice cream is being processed, melt the dark chocolate chips in the microwave using 30-second intervals. Stir between intervals until a smooth chocolate fudge forms.
  7. Add Mix-Ins and Finish: Make a small hole in the center of the processed ice cream and insert the mini peanut butter cups and drizzle the melted chocolate fudge. Use the ‘Mix-In’ button on the Ninja Creami to evenly incorporate the mix-ins into the ice cream. Serve and enjoy your protein-rich Moose Tracks ice cream!

Notes

  • Ensure the mixture is fully frozen solid before processing for best texture results.
  • If the ice cream ends up too powdery after the first spin, use the respin function to improve creaminess.
  • You can adjust sweetness by altering the amount of monk fruit sweetener according to taste preferences.
  • Melt the chocolate chips gently to avoid burning and achieve a smooth chocolate fudge.
  • For best results, use a quality vanilla protein powder to enhance flavor and texture.
  • This recipe is designed for single servings using the Ninja Creami ice cream maker.
