Heirloom Tomato & Burrata Bruschetta

Crispy toasted sourdough topped with creamy burrata, vibrant heirloom cherry tomatoes, and fresh basil, drizzled with a sweet balsamic glaze—this stunning appetizer bursts with flavor and elegance.

  • 1 small loaf of sourdough or rustic bread, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 8 oz burrata cheese
  • 1 cup heirloom cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat a grill pan or skillet over medium heat. Brush both sides of the bread slices with olive oil and toast until golden and crispy, about 2–3 minutes per side.
  2. Place toasted bread on a serving board or plate. Tear burrata and spread generously over each slice.
  3. Top with halved cherry tomatoes, gently pressing them into the cheese.
  4. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
  5. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve immediately.
