Ingredients

Scale

For the Shrimp:

  • 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

For the Caesar Dressing:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 garlic clove (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Wraps:

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (shaved)
  • 1/2 cup croutons (optional)
  • 4 slices bacon (cooked and crumbled, optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Shrimp: In a bowl, toss the peeled and deveined shrimp with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated, ensuring the seasoning penetrates the shrimp for full flavor.
  2. Grill the Shrimp: Heat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Place the shrimp on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from heat and drizzle with lemon juice for brightness.
  3. Make the Caesar Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Warm the Tortillas: Heat a skillet over medium heat and warm each tortilla for about 30 seconds on each side until soft and pliable, making them easier to fold and roll.
  5. Assemble the Wraps: Spread a generous layer of Caesar dressing onto each warm tortilla. Add the grilled shrimp, chopped romaine lettuce, shaved Parmesan cheese, and if using, sprinkle crumbled bacon and croutons on top.
  6. Fold and Roll: Fold the sides of the tortilla inward and roll tightly from the bottom up to enclose the filling, ensuring the wrap holds together well.
  7. Serve: Slice each wrap in half diagonally and serve immediately while warm and fresh.

Notes

  • You can substitute grilled chicken for shrimp if desired.
  • For a lower carb option, use whole wheat or low-carb tortillas.
  • Croutons and bacon are optional but add extra texture and flavor.
  • Make the Caesar dressing ahead of time and store in the fridge for up to 2 days.
  • Ensure the shrimp is cooked fully to avoid any food safety issues.
