Ingredients

Scale

Filling

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Dough & Topping

  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and ensure easy cleanup.
  2. Cook Ground Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess grease to keep the mixture from being too oily.
  3. Season and Mix Cheese: Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the cooked beef. Stir in softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese until everything is well combined and creamy, then remove from heat.
  4. Prepare Biscuit Dough: Open the can of refrigerated biscuit dough and separate into individual biscuits. Flatten each biscuit into a circle using your hands or a rolling pin.
  5. Fill and Seal: Place a spoonful of the beef and cheese mixture in the center of each flattened biscuit. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges tightly to completely seal in the filling, preventing leaks during baking.
  6. Prepare Topping: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with grated Parmesan cheese. Brush this flavorful mixture over the tops of each sealed biscuit bomb to form a golden, crispy crust.
  7. Bake: Arrange the bombs on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them slightly apart. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the biscuit dough is fully cooked.
  8. Cool and Garnish: Remove from the oven and let the bombs cool slightly. Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color and fresh flavor before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute the biscuit dough with homemade dough for a more rustic taste.
  • For a spicier kick, add some crushed red pepper flakes or diced jalapeños to the beef mixture.
  • Make sure to seal the dough edges tightly to avoid filling leakage during baking.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauces such as ketchup, ranch, or mustard for added flavor.
  • These bombs can be prepared ahead of time and baked just before serving.
