Fudgy Brownie Pie – The Ultimate Chocolate Lover’s Dream

A rich, fudgy brownie baked into a buttery pie crust for the ultimate chocolate lover’s dessert. Crackly on top, gooey in the center, and irresistibly decadent—especially when served warm with vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 9-inch pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Optional: extra chocolate chunks for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter and chocolate chips together, stirring until smooth. Let cool slightly.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth and slightly pale.
  4. Slowly mix in the melted chocolate mixture until fully combined.
  5. Fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just incorporated.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared pie crust and smooth the top. Add extra chocolate chunks on top if using.
  7. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until the top is crackly and the center is set but still gooey.
  8. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving. Best enjoyed warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Notes

  • Let the melted butter-chocolate mixture cool slightly to avoid scrambling the eggs.
  • Bake until just set in the center for a gooey texture—do not overbake.
  • Great for making ahead—reheat slices briefly before serving for a melty center.
