Everything Bagel with Herbed Cream Cheese, Smoked Salmon & Greens

A savory and refreshing brunch sandwich featuring a toasted everything bagel with herbed cream cheese, layers of smoked salmon, avocado, cucumber, and mixed greens.

Ingredients

  • 1 everything bagel, halved and toasted
  • 3 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 4 slices smoked salmon
  • 1/4 avocado, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup mixed baby greens or arugula

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix cream cheese with dill, chives, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  2. Spread the herbed cream cheese generously on both halves of the toasted bagel.
  3. Layer the bottom half with smoked salmon, avocado slices, cucumber, and baby greens.
  4. Place the top half of the bagel over the fillings and press gently.
  5. Serve immediately with a side of fruit or iced coffee.

Notes

  • For extra tang, add a few capers or pickled onions.
  • Use whipped cream cheese for easier spreading.
  • Best enjoyed fresh; not ideal for long storage.
