Chocolate-Dipped Banana Peanut Butter Bites

Frozen banana bites sandwiched with creamy peanut butter and half-dipped in rich dark chocolate, then topped with flaky sea salt — the ultimate sweet and salty no-bake treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe but firm bananas
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp coconut oil (optional, for smoother melting)
  • Flaky sea salt, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Slice bananas into 1/2-inch thick rounds.
  2. Spread a small dollop of peanut butter onto half of the slices. Top with the remaining slices to make little banana “sandwiches.”
  3. Place banana bites on a parchment-lined tray and freeze for at least 1 hour, or until firm.
  4. Melt dark chocolate chips with coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
  5. Dip each frozen banana bite halfway into the melted chocolate, letting the excess drip off.
  6. Place back onto the parchment-lined tray and immediately sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
  7. Return to freezer for another 15–20 minutes to set.
  8. Store in an airtight container in the freezer until ready to enjoy.

Notes

  • Use almond or sunflower seed butter for a nut-free option.
  • Try white or milk chocolate for variety.
  • Best enjoyed straight from the freezer for a firm, creamy texture.
