- 1 sheet puff pastry or savory tart crust (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, finely minced
- 2 large ripe tomatoes, thinly sliced
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced
- Fresh basil leaves
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp balsamic glaze
- Salt and freshly cracked black pepper
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out puff pastry or tart dough and press into a tart pan. Prick the base with a fork.
