Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare it for baking the dip.
  2. Mix Dip Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, chopped pepperoncinis, green onion, chives, minced garlic, half of the shredded mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, and season with kosher salt and freshly cracked pepper. Stir thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  3. Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the combined mixture into an 8×8 inch baking dish or a medium-sized cast iron skillet. Spread the dip evenly and then sprinkle the remaining shredded mozzarella over the top.
  4. Bake the Dip: Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until the dip is bubbly and heated through.
  5. Broil for Golden Top: Switch the oven to broil and cook the dip for an additional 1-2 minutes, watching carefully until the mozzarella on top turns dark golden brown.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and garnish with extra green onion and chives. Serve warm with sliced French baguette or crispy crostini for dipping. Enjoy!
